Held on Wednesday 21 May, the University Career Open Day is a dedicated experience for students looking to explore career opportunities in the resources industry. The free program offers: an exclusive industry experience, with access to the GRX25 exhibition and networking opportunities.

Participation in industry-led collaboration sessions, featuring thought-provoking discussions on emerging trends and breakthrough innovations shaping the sector. Engagement in speed networking and mentoring sessions, providing students with direct connections to industry leaders and insights into diverse career pathways. Hands-on exposure to the latest mining and METS innovations, with a guided exhibition tour offering a firsthand look at cutting-edge technologies and developments.

The program concludes with a tour of the exhibition floor and a dynamic networking session, providing opportunities to connect with potential employers, mentors, and industry experts.

Eligibility:

Open to university students from all academic disciplines interested in the resources sector.

Specialised Streams:

Students can select a stream aligned with their interests.
