Meet the Miners®

Austmine’s popular Meet the Miners® networking event returns at GRX25, providing a unique opportunity to connect directly with mining leaders and decision-makers.

This highly anticipated event is designed to strengthen collaboration between mining companies and the METS sector. It fosters open conversations around operational needs, challenges and emerging priorities, giving suppliers valuable insights into the current and future focus areas of major mining organisations.

New for 2025, we’re broadening the conversation. In partnership with SIAA (Space Industry Association of Australia), two representatives from the space sector will join the event, bringing fresh perspectives from a sector that shares many operational and technological synergies with resources.

Meet the Miners® also provides a platform for METS companies to showcase new solutions and technologies, and to engage in meaningful discussions about innovation and product development to help drive the future growth of both mining and adjacent industries.

Registration for this event is exclusively available to Austmine and AusIMM Members attending GRX25, and SIAA Members. Places are strictly limited to one person per organisation.

How it Works

Participants will be grouped in small discussion tables and will have the opportunity to meet with three different industry representatives from mining and the space sector over the course of the event. Each group will spend 20 minutes with a representative before they rotate to the next table, allowing participants to meet with three industry leaders over the course of the hour.

The format encourages open, two-way dialogue, giving members the chance to ask questions, share solutions, and gain insight into the priorities and opportunities across mining and space.
