These sessions focus on the latest advancements, transformative technologies, and best practices driving our sector forward. GRX25 invites Austmine and AusIMM Members to submit proposals for delivering short presentations within our Collaborative Conversations Breakout Streams. This is a unique opportunity to share your organisation's expertise, showcase innovations, and contribute to shaping the future of our industry.

The Structure

Over two days, Wednesday, 21st May, and Thursday, 22nd May, five Breakout Streams will feature dynamic presentations followed by interactive, solution-focused discussions.

This format allows participants to:

Dive deeper into presented topics
Exchange insights with peers
Co-create solutions in real-time

The Topics

Presentations should align with one of the following five themes, each representing a key goal for our industry's future:

Next-Gen Energy and Decarbonisation Solutions
Digital Mining: Revolutionising the Mining Lifecycle
Rapid Capital to Accelerate Tech Development
Waste to Wealth: Progressing Towards Circularity
Going Where No Human Has Gone Before: Mining in Extreme Environments

Focus:

Ensure your presentation addresses one of the breakout stream topics, emphasising sustainability, innovation, and technological advancement.

Format:

Presentations should be concise, engaging, and designed to spark collaboration and discussion.

Deadline:

Submit your proposal via the website by Friday, 21 February 2025.

Applicants will be notified of their submission outcome in March 2025.

Important Information:

Each presentation is limited to 15 minutes.
Submission does not guarantee a speaking slot. Selections are based on topic suitability, innovation, industry value, and demonstrated experience.
Submissions are open only to Austmine or AusIMM Members.
Presentations must provide value to the industry and cannot be sales-focused. The program committee reserves the right to review all content and rescind speaking rights if necessary.
