Jacques Janse is the Chief Executive Officer at Phibion. Since his appointment in May of 2021, he has focused on international growth and commercialisation of the Phibion solution to make tailings dams safer, smaller and more sustainable. Previously Jacques was VP at Hexagon Mining leading the Mine Measure portfolio. Hexagon bought Blast Movement Technologies (BMT) in 2020 where he had the role of CEO.  Prior to joining BMT, Jacques held the roles of COO and VP of Global Operations at GrondProbe.  Jacques has been part of the METS industries for the last 17 years bringing new and innovative solutions to mining companies. He is an Electric/Electronic engineer with experience in surface mining whilst receiving most of his training in the deep underground mines in South Africa.
